Dominique Delorme

President and Chief Executive Officer

Dominique Delorme was appointed President and CEO of LA MANCHA in August 2009. Mr Delorme has worked in the mining industry for 34 years.

After graduating from the École Nationale Supérieure de Géologie (Nancy, France), Mr. Delorme worked as an exploration and mining geologist in Africa and France. He has held several positions with Areva, including head of uranium and gold exploration, General Manager, worldwide gold assets, Vice President, Technical and Projects, and Vice President, Strategy for the group's mining activities.

Mr. Delorme has been a director of LA MANCHA for over three years, during part of which he headed the Resources Committee.

Nigel Tamlyn

Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Tamlyn is a strong technical expert with more than 25 years of experience in the mining industry, predominantly in gold, copper and zinc open pit and underground operations and corresponding processing plants. Most recently, he was Vice President & General Manager of Golden Star Resources in Ghana. He is a Chartered Engineer with the Engineering Council of the United Kingdom, a Professional Engineer with the Engineering Council of South Africa, and a member of the Institution of Mining and Metallurgy and the South African Institution of Mining and Metallurgy. He holds a B.Sc. (Honours) Mining Engineering and A.C.S.M from the Camborne School of Mines, Cornwall and M.Sc. Mining Specialising in Mineral Economics from University of the Witwatersrand.

Martin Amyot

Senior Vice President

Prior to joining LA MANCHA, he consecutively acted as VP Loan Structuring and Syndication at National Bank Financial and as Investor Relation Manager at Cambior. Mr. Amyot also holds an LL.B from Université Laval and is a member of the Quebec Bar. Mr. Amyot is experienced in analysing, structuring and documenting complex financing. He was involved in numerous M&A transactions. 

Gonzague Thomasset

Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Thomasset has over 25 years of general expertise in management and finance. He joined AREVA's Mining Business Group in 2008 as Vice President of Finance & IT for AREVA Resources Southern Africa. Prior to joining AREVA, he held various senior financial executive and corporate controller positions. Mr. Thomasset is a business graduate from the EMLYON Business School of Lyon, France.

Jean-Jacques Kachrillo

VP Exploration

Prior to joining LA MANCHA, he acted as Assistant Managing Director for Solenvironement, a consulting firm specialized in environmental water management. He holds a Ph.D. in Geology from the University of Nancy, France.

Jean-Pierre Sierak

Managing Director, Hassaï mine

He has held several positions with AREVA, in France, Niger, Côte d'Ivoire, French Guyana, and Sudan. Prior to joining LA MANCHA in 2006, he was Deputy General Manager of Ariab Mining Company. Mr. Sierak holds a Ph.D. in Geology from Toulouse Paul Sabatier University.

Charles J. Huijbregts

Managing Director, Ity mine

Mr. Huijbregts has 40 years of experience in the international mining industry.

After graduating with the School of Mines of Nancy, Mr. Huijbregts pursued a varied mining career as an international consultant in geostatistics, a mineral economist, a representative with the European Commission, a resident manager, a mineral development consultant, a project manager and a deputy general manager of mining companies. While he has been involved in  copper, cobalt, uranium and iron projects, his experience is mainly in gold projects and operations, especially in Africa.

Rodney Johns

General Manager, Frog's Leg and White Foil mines
Mr Johns holds a BAppSc in Extractive Metallurgy. He has a career background of over 25 years of technical and management experience in the resource sector, predominately in the Australian gold industry. His previous work in corporate and consultative roles for a variety of small and large companies included feasibility studies, toll milling, due diligence and operational management. Mr Johns first joined La Mancha in 2008 and leads the Australian team to meet their strategic objectives.

Gabriel Saporiti

General Manager, Argentina

Mr. Saporiti is a geologist with over 15 years of mining exploration experience. He has worked with LA MANCHA since 2004.

Before joining LA MANCHA, he was a consulting geologist for various Canadian companies, and worked in different capacities for Noranda in Argentina, Chile and Peru. He participated in the evaluation of projects for acquisition such as Lomas Bayas and Pachon. From 2001 to 2003, he was the assistant manager of the Pachon project, and played an active role in the reactivation of the project in Argentina.
