La Mancha Resources Inc. (TSX: LMA, hereinafter “La Mancha” or the “Company”) reports that due tothe increased agitation observed over the last 24 hours in the Zouan Hounienregion, in western Côte d’Ivoire, the Ity mine proceeded to the orderlyinterruption of its activities. The Ity mine represents only 15% of theCompany’s total gold production for 2010.

Dominique Delorme, Presidentand CEO of La Mancha noted: “In this difficult period for Côte d’Ivoire, LaMancha’s first priority continues to be the safety and security of ouremployees and their family. To that effect, we have cautiously decided totemporarily suspend mine operations. La Mancha’s international diversificationhelps minimize the impact of the current event as only 15% of our goldproduction comes from our Côte d’Ivoire operation.”

The current situation at theIty mine remains calm, however further precautionary measures have been takento safeguard all mine assets. All the gold poured over the recent weeks wassafely transported off the mine site.

La Mancha’s production targetfor 2010 remains between 120,000 and 130,000 ounces of gold, of which 65% isproduced in Australia, 20% in Sudan, and only 15% of which is produced in Côted’Ivoire.
