Our Presence in Argentina
La Mancha has been conducting exploration in Argentina since early 2003, when it acquired interests in a number of exploration properties. Our main focus is the La Ortiguita copper-gold project, located on the El Indio trend in proximity to Barrick Gold's giant Pascua-Lama and Veladero deposits.
Our current activities
La Mancha is presently conducting exploration on the La Ortiguita copper-gold project, where we are in the process of earning a 75% interest from TNR Gold Corporation. We are the project operator, and have been increasing our ownership in the property under a farm-in agreement that entitles us to reach 75%. We expect to earn our full interest by July 2011.
