Overview

This 65%-owned prospect is located in the centre of Côte d'Ivoire, in the heart of Birimian Shield. It hosts shallow inferred resources that are quite well delineated. The prospect has some good historical results in a favourable geological setting.

Diamond and reverse circulation drilling have returned good results, with grades of up to 135 g/t Au. Drill results suggest that the known resource could be increased as the deposit appears to be open to both the east and the north. The relatively shallow depth of the high-grade intersections is also a positive feature. Work is ongoing on the property, except during the rainy season.

The resources shown include the reserves.

Reported mineral reserves have been calculated in accordance with definitions and guidelines adopted by the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum. Unlike proven and probable mineral reserves, mineral resources (of all categories) do not have demonstrated economic viability.

In mining operations, measured and indicated resources are considered uneconomic at the price used for reserves calculations.
