Responsible Development
At LA MANCHA, we believe that success includes making the right social choices and following through with action. We are pursuing initiatives set up by our predecessor to improve quality of life for communities near our operations. Such initiatives include building hospitals, nurseries, schools and infrastructure.
In Sudan, social responsibility also means monitoring the situation in Darfur and measuring the pertinence of our presence in the country. Our Sudan Policy describes our presence, explains our influence and sets out the criteria for our future course of action.
Wherever we operate, we maintain a dialogue with all our stakeholders to better appreciate their interests.
